AV Special Edition: Part 2

The length of time this comic has been on hiatus is embarrassing, but we're back. Additionally, I need to find a new scanner for next week's update because for complicated reasons I was using a different computer to scan the comic (the Macbook doesn't have a SCSI port and my old scanner doesn't do USB) and the computer I was using is on its last leg. I just got a new Macbook and now my old scanner needs replaced. Fate seems to conspire to cause me to spend more money than I'm really interested in spending on new equipment in a short amount of time. Was I a bad person in my last life?

At any rate, I ordered a new scanner and it should hopefully get delivered to me this week. If it doesn't, the update will be late... but there will definitely be one next week, provided things get to me in a timely manner. We'll note the site if it just can't happen.

So, here's the thrilling conclusion to the game-show. Did it turn out how you expected? I think I need to specify that though this comic is angry, I'm not really angry at anyone in particular; furthermore, I'm really not that much like Kevin in this particular comic. I have more similarities to Eric at this point. I guess the idea I'm trying to get across is I'm just not that nice.

I don't really know what to say honestly.

Both Kevin and I are really excited and proud to be back in business.

A lot has happened in the past two years. I changed my major from Computer Science to Media Studies. So for most of those two years I forsook (I don't care if thats the word or not) all programming and coding of any kind. So my html is all out of sorts. Its a good thing that 2004 Emrys was so organized about keeping up with the comic because I actually remember where everything is.

It'd be nice to have a system that automagically updates everything and keeps the archives up to date with both the comics and the rants. I have no desire to actually work in depth with any of that stuff, so we're still doign things the old fashioned manual way over here.

Yeah, we've got Myspace going. I've got a YouTube V-Blog that I keep updating, I might link to that at some point. In the meantime search for Nerbert or ZodonTheGreat.

And to all you nonbelievers who didn't think we'd ever update again. Stuff it.
